Our 2024 Liquor of the Year goes to Lux Row Distillers Four Grain Double Single Barrel bourbon whiskey from the Bardstown, Kentucky based distillery.
This bourbon stood out above all other adult beverages in 2024 to earn the honor.
Coming in with a 57.5% ABV, this 115 Proof pour was aged 6 years before release. In our review we wrote, “A rich & vibrant cinnamon component takes hold of the palate on the first sip before giving way to rye and a slightly floral component. As those fade the cinnamon returns to the finish with some oak and heat that appears late in the finish. Additional sips showcase the rye barrel with an abundance of rye spice on the front end with finish of vanilla and cinnamon and a nice amount of warmth.”
