The number 4 in our countdown is a mouthful, HVC Hot Cake Fresh Ouf of the Oven Broadleaf. HVC Hot Cake Broadleaf for short.
The Hot Cake from HVC has a history dating back to 2016 when the cigar was originally called Pan Caliente. Thankfully in 2020, Reinier Lorenzo owner of HVC would make the name easier for gringo’s to say and remember.
Released in 2024 the flavor profile of the HVC Hot Cake Broadleaf was pretty constant throughout with a well defined flavor profile. There were notes of cinnamon, leather, coffee and chocolate that did not disappoint.
