The press releases have begun to pour in for TAA Releases. The TAA is underway in Aruba the week of August 20th. The TAA is made up of the top retailers of the company and serves a a mini trade show for this select group of manufactures and retailers. To commemorate the yearly meeting many brands release a special limited edition cigar just for its members which go on sale for consumers in these selection shops.
Plasencia Cigars has announced that the Cosecha 151 in a 6 X 54 Salomon size will make its debut at the at the 2024 TAA Meetings. Available in 10 count boxes the Plasencia Cosecha 151 TAA Excluse 2024 will be available in 10 count boxes with each cigar carrying a $19.50 MSRP and production is limited to just 500 10 count boxes. The cigar is expected to ship in October.
Joya de Nicaragua is proud to announce the launch of the Cinco de Cinco TAA Exclusive Edition, a limited cigar crafted specifically for the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) members. This exclusive cigar will make its debut during the 2024 TAA annual trade show, marking a significant milestone for Joya de Nicaragua and the TAA. This 6 x 60 cigar is limited to just 600 boxes.
The E.P. Carrillo 2024 TAA Exclusive, from Ernest Perez-Carrillo returned in a a 6 x 54 toro gordo that uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from the USA and Nicaragua. The cigar comes in 10 count boxes and is expected to retail for $13 with only 750 boxes produces.
One of the newest members of TAA is Michael Herklots’ The company will debut Ferio Tego 2024 Timeless TAA Exclusive which will begin to ship immediately after the event. It’s a Nicaraguan puro rolled by the Plasencia. The cigar ar a 6 x 50 Toro packaged in 10-count black boxes. The suggested retail price is $19 and 900 boxes will be produced.
Crowned Heads has announced its tenth installment of there TAA Exclusive Series Product line, Crowned Heads TAA Exclusive 2024. This will be the first year the company doesn’t use The Angel’s Anvil or The Lost Angel moniker. The Crowned Heads TAA Exclusive 2024 isa 6.25 x 50 Toro cigar that features a blend of filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the U.S.A. (Pennsylvania Broadleaf), an Ecuadorian binder and is finished with an Ecuadorian HVA wrapper leaf. It will carry a MSRP of $15.50 and be limited to 500 boxes.
C.L.E. Cigar Company to display the EIROA The First 20 Years TAA Exclusive at the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) taking place in Aruba from October 20 to 24, 2024. The TAA Exclusive version of this blend will be offered in a 6 X 54 round which sets it apart from its traditional box pressed format. While the production amount is not being disclosed the cigar will retail for $16.60
Villiger Cigars North America has had different factories make their annual TAA release and this year 2024 the company has chosen Fabrica de Puros Maya Selva Cigars to make The Villiger TAA Exclusive 2024. The 6 x 52 toro will be a Honduran pure with an MSRP of $15 with production limited to 500 boxes of 20 cigars.
Miami Cigar & Company doesn’t change things up for their 2024 exclusive release. While the cigar won’t arrive until 2025 it is the same as the 2023 edition. The Tatiana Groovy Blue Belicoso TAA Exclusive measures 6.25 x 52. While most traditional smokers know the Nestor Miranda line, Tatiana Groovy Blue is the top selling sku for the company. The cigar is expected to retail for $14 and will be limited to 1,000 box of 20 made at the La Aurora factory which produces all of the Tatiana cigars for the Miami based company.
