The MEERAPFEL family operates the oldest business in the premium cigar industry – an unrivaled legacy spanning over 400 years and 11 generations of tradition. While not known by the masses the family produces authentic Cameroon wrapper used throughout the cigar industry.
In 2022 MEERAPFEL created a new segment in the premium cigar world with its MEERAPFEL Cigar; the Uber Luxury.
The company is set to release their third Master bend called “Ernest” in Dortmund, Germany at Intertabac in 2023.
The “Ernest” Master Blend honors Ernest MEERAPFEL and is presented in ornamented caskets showcasing 10 Double Robusto cigars (5 x 52 / $94.00 MSRP per cigar) with flagtail, as well as majestic wooden chests each holding 25 Corona Gorda (5 x 46 / $41.00), 25 Robusto (4 ⅞ x 50 / $49.00) and 25 Lonsdale (6 x 43 $50.00) cigars.
As with every MEERAPFEL Cigar, the annual production is strictly limited to 613 chests per vitola globally and is allocated to specifically partnered premium cigar retailers around the world.
