La Aurora USA announces the expansion of the Cazadores line. Cazadores was first introduced in 2018 with Cazadores Claro featuring a Connecticut wrapper. La Aurora is now growing their value-priced cigar line with two new additions for 2024: Cazadores Maduro and Cazadores Nicaragua.
Since 1903, La Aurora has been making cigars to fit any palate; however, with the Cazadores line they are ensuring that the same excellence synonymous with the La Aurora name can be found to fit any budget. Spanish for “Hunters,” Cazadores is an everyday, hand-rolled, long-filler cigar and as the name suggests, it’s a premium companion for your next outdoor adventure. With wrappers ranging from Claro to Nicaragua and Maduro, and sizes up to a 6×60, these handmade Dominican cigars provide a great value without sacrificing any quality.
“With the success of the claro wrapper we knew we could expand the Cazadores line and offer a Nicaragua and Maduro wrapper option at a price point that could continue to introduce Manuel Inoa’s blends to a budget-conscious audience. And ultimately introduce this audience to the La Aurora Family,” says Ed McKenna, CEO, La Aurora USA.

Cazadores Claro
Utilizing a beautiful, silky Connecticut wrapper, grown in Ecuador, over an Indonesian binder and Dominican fillers (Cibao Valley) this is the original blend with which the line launched in 2018. The mild-medium strength smoke boasts mellow earthy and coffee notes with a cedar wood and nutty aftertaste.
Cazadores Maduro
Cigars with a maduro wrapper make for a naturally sweeter smoke, and the Cazadores Maduro is no different. With an Indonesian Maduro wrapper over an Indonesian binder and Dominican fillers (Cibao Valley), the Cazadores Maduro cigar delivers a balanced and rich, subtly sweet medium smoke with notes of nuts and woods.
Cazadores Nicaragua
Cazadores Nicaragua features a mild-medium blend of Dominican fillers (Cibao Valley), Indonesian binder and complete with a Nicaragua wrapper. This unique combination creates a spicy addition to the Cazadores line with notes of pepper complementing those of wood and earthy nuts.
Each Cazadores cigar will be available in 3 sizes. Each box will come with 20 cigars:
- Cazadores Robusto (5 x 50) — MSRP: $90/box or $4.50
- Cazadores Toro (5.75 X 54) — MSRP: $95/box $4.75
- Cazadores Gordo (6 x 60) — MSRP: $130/box $6.50
Both Cazadores Claro and Cazadores Maduro will be available in 650 boxes each. Cazadores Nicaragua will be available in 500 boxes. The Cazadores line is expected to start shipping to retailers in late April.
