Erik Wentworth has annoucned the release of 3 LEAF. According to a press release. It is a brand born from the knowledge obtained during 15 years in the cigar industry, the relationships – both professional and social – that have formed during that time, and my undying passion for cigars.”
Erik Wentworth’s journey in the cigar industry began with a New Hampshire retailer where he worked as a tobacconist. It was there that he met Eric Hanson the late owner of Hammer + Sickle cigars where he worked from 2013-2022. While working from Hammer + Sickle he served as Executive Vice President learning the intricacies of running a cigar business.
After being absent from the cigar industry for a year he contacted his close friend Jim Ferreira about making a cigar together. Without hesitation he was in favor of the idea and they began making plans with Erik assuming the role of CEO and James, COO.
The name 3 LEAF itself, evolved from a drawing Erik’s daughter created of a small tobacco stock bearing three leaves. When he brought his daughter’s drawing to James it was immediately adopted to be their project’s crest and 3 LEAF was born.
After over a year of blending and rigorous details, they finally have two blends that will appeal to every cigar enthusiast, for those special occasions or everyday smokes. The first being a Ecuador Connecticut and the second being a Habano. Each blend has three sizes packaged in 16-count boxes: 5 x 50, 6 x 48, and 6 x 54. Each cigar is made at a non-disclosed facotry in the Dominican Republic and pricing is set from $10.00 to $12.00 MSRP before and local or state taxes.
