Crowned Heads has announced their latest regular production release, “Mil Dias Maduro.” The cigar is being made at TacaNicsa in Esteli, Nicaragua the factory of the original Mil Dias brand.
Available in three size the Mil Dias Maduro is highlighted by a Grade A Dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Habano binder and Nicaragua fillers consisting of Viso Jalapa, Ligero Condega and Seco Ometepe.
According to Jon Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads, “Mil Dias Maduro is an extension of the original Mil Dias that we announced back in July of 2020. What’s important to note, however, is the Maduro blend is not simple a re-tread of the original blend where we just swapper the wrapper leaf out. Mil Dias Maude is an all-new blend from the outside to the inside we self was worth of bearing the Mil Dias brandname. We began work on the Mil Dias Maduro blend with Eradicating Pichardo in the summer of 2023. The result is a cigar with a flavor profile that is dense and lush, layered with notes of dark chocolate, baking spices, with excellent structure and a pepper component that is most noticeable on the retrohale.”
Mil Did Maduro will make its global debut at the upcoming Total Product Expo (TPE) trade show held in Las Vegas from January 31 — February 2, 2024.
The cigar is being releases in three sizes; Edmundo (5 3/8 x 52), Sublime (6 x 54) and Topes (4 7/8 x 56). The cigar will carry a retail price range of $10.95 — $12.50 and will begin shipping in February 2024.
